Looking – the first step

Sometimes it seems very obvious, in order to 'see' or preceive, you have to 'look'. Looking is an act, that is the start of the engagement of the mind to focus in on a certain subject or thing. Duh. But how often we cruise throught life, not even looking.  I get that way when... Continue Reading →

Happy New Year 2008

I want to wish you the very best for a very wonderful New Year for 2008! We had a nice evening last night with friends and family, playing some cards, watching the New Year come in and toasting with a little champaign. I have made myself some goals for this year, as I try to experience life directly... Continue Reading →

2007 Goals assessment

Copyright Douglas Stockdale • I think that is a great idea to spend a little time to reflect on how well I have accomplished my goals for the past year, both for a learning experience and also to be able to pat my self on the back a little. I had a couple of modest... Continue Reading →

Reflecting on 2007

As I end the year 2007, it is a time of reflection, about all of the events that occured and the experiences that I had.  Did the year 2007 go as planned? NOPE  Is that a bad thing or a good thing? Good thing, as it went better than I had planned;- ) My professional background... Continue Reading →
