Douglas Stockdale is an artist/photographer, educator, dad, science-geek, book-nerd, the Editor & Publisher of Photobook Journal, the contemporary photobook magazine, Associate Editor and founder of SoCal PhotoExchange, a Southern California photo-blog, on the Faculty of Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP), and the Medium Photographic Festival (San Diego, CA).

His photobook and photography workshops are available thru LACP and Medium Festival of Photography (San Diego) and he provides portfolio reviews at LACP’s annual Exposures Weekend event each September.

Next book making workshop is with Medium Photo 2020 Workshop: Developing a Creative Book workshop that I will be leading, is now rescheduled for September 24 – 27th, 2020, a four-day extended weekend workshop in San Diego.

Stockdale works with artist, photographers and organization regarding the development of artistic/photographic projects assisting with the design, editing, sequencing, development and marketing of artist/photographic books and artistic projects.
