Bluewater Shore is a sequel to Pine Lake, and is a self-published artist book (2017) in a limited edition of 99 with 5 A/P’s. This is a semi-fictitious short visual story one set in the late 1940’s about about a young woman’s exciting unescorted holiday trip to the shore with her friends. Bluewater Shore investigates a new sense of independence for women that occurred during and following World War II as well as family, memory and American culture. The limited edition artist book was developed from re-purposed vernacular photographs from the artist’s family archive and the concept was partly inspired by Kodak and Ansco promotional booklets that were available with dime/drug stores film processing in the 1950’s and into the 1960’s.

Bluewater Shore has been reviewed by Gerhard Clausing, Gabriela Cendoya and selected as Best Photographic Books for 2017 by Elizabeth Avedon.

Guide to Self-Publishing an Indie Artist Book was self-published in late 2017 and launched at the Medium Festival in San Diego, Oct 2017. The Guide was reviewed by Gerhard Clausing and is now available directly from me.

Pine Lake is a self-published artist book in a limited edition of 25 released in 2013. My worn and faded family photographs became symbols for the remaining bits and fragments of my family memories. Pine Lake is an investigation of what might have been. Pine Lake was selected by New York book designer Elizabeth Avedon as one of her Best Photographic Books for 2014 and is in the permanent collection of the Reminders Photography Stronghold Library, Tokyo, Japan. Out of Print.

Ciociaria is a hardcover photobook published by Edizioni Punctum (Rome, Italy) in the Fall of 2011. It is a photo-documentary investigation into the preservation of memory in a region in central Italy that has neither a defined border or a known history. Ciociaria can be purchased from me directly or on-line at photo-eye bookstore and other specialty fine art and photography book stores.

Limited Edition photographs from Ciociaria were acquired by the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Roma (MACRO) for their permanent collection of contemporary photography.

In Passing is a photo-documentary portfolio that was featured in LensWork, #74 (Jan-Feb 2008). A book dummy has been developed.
