Douglas Stockdale is a multi-media visual artist, artist coach, dad, science-geek, book-nerd, the Senior Editor (founder) of Photobook Journal, the contemporary photobook magazine, Publisher of Singular Images Press, Associate Editor (founder) of SoCal PhotoExchange, a Southern California photo-blog, and on the Adjunct Faculty of Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP), Medium Photo (San Diego, CA) and Southeast Center for Photography (SEC4P).

Singular Images is his personal art-blog where he shares his thoughts about art, photography and personal artistic series that visually explore aspects of family, culture, memory, science and aging. His art and book-work can be found on his website www.douglasstockdale.com

His photobook and art workshops are available thru LACP and Medium Photo and he provides photographic/artist portfolio reviews at LACP’s annual Exposures Weekend event each year as well as an artist coach. Stockdale works with artist, photographers and organization regarding the development of artistic/photographic projects assisting with the design, editing, sequencing, layout, project development and marketing of artist/photographic books and artistic projects.
