Douglas Stockdale is a multi-media artist, educator, dad, science-geek, book-nerd, the Editor & Publisher of Photobook Journal, the contemporary photobook magazine, Associate Editor and founder of SoCal PhotoExchange, a Southern California photo-blog, on the Faculty of Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP), and the Adjunct Faculty of the Medium Photographic Festival (San Diego, CA).

His photobook and art workshops are available thru LACP and Medium Festival of Photography (San Diego) and he provides photographic/artist portfolio reviews at LACP’s annual Exposures Weekend event each September.
Next book making workshop is with Medium Photo 2020 Workshop: Developing a Creative Book workshop that he will be leading is a series of two-hour Zoom virtual segments spread over a span of eight sessions starting on Saturday, September 26th. This eight session workshop takes place on Saturdays from 10am–12pm (Pacific time) and Wednesdays from 4–6pm (Pacific time).
Stockdale works with artist, photographers and organization regarding the development of artistic/photographic projects assisting with the design, editing, sequencing, layout, project development and marketing of artist/photographic books and artistic projects.
