Last night was a wonderful opening reception at Fabrik Projects for their Summer Group Show with a nice opportunity to exhibit two of my photographs, Ghost and Changes, from my Memory Pods project. I felt fortunate that my photographs were exhibited on the only dark gray wall in the gallery as this framed these two photographs very nicely.
The gallery now has a section that is called Small Works Salon that includes the International Photobook bookstore and their first featured photobook; mine! Betsy Enzensberger, the Gallery Manager, had hinted that I would probably enjoy the small change to the gallery’s layout and she was absolutely correct. The Middle Ground limited edition box set (social edition book, limited edition print in the hand assembled presentation box), is just now being released by Fabrik Press. More about this special edition box set shortly, as I had just delivered the first two and an Artist Proof earlier this week to the gallery.
Many of the represented artist who are in the show along with me were present, including: Betsy Enzensberger, EK Waller, Jane Szabo, Jessus Hernandez, Maureen Haldeman, Nancy Wise, Rob Grad, Sarah Hadley, team SameSource, and Sharon Weiner. Other friends who attended included Ellen Friedlander, Sarah Lee, Ara Oshagan and Richard Chow, and overall a nice attendance nicely hosted by Chris Davies, the gallery’s Director.
