This morning I was off to the post office as the unofficial but perhaps official soft launch of my artist book, The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow. Which will probably make tomorrow’s post office run Day 2 of the unofficial/official soft launch of my artist book. Yesterday while working on the packing and shipping prep, it turned out that actually this required a little bit more effort and time than I had anticipated. Seems like that is the on-going theme for this entire artist book project. sigh.
Nevertheless, I was determined to make the first trip to the post office today to start shipping the Artist Special Edition and today I will be working on the packing of the pre-sold regular edition of The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow for tomorrow’s trip to the post office. Meanwhile, back in the studio I still have many more artist books to finish assembly and pamphlet stitching, some as thank-you’s and a few for artist trades, as well as building inventory for bookshops and future book orders. So I will be ready when you are.
Okay, still a lot to do now, while still enjoying a little glow in having accomplished this artist book launch today. The celebratory spirits for this event will have to wait until the end of the week…
