I am very honored to be included in a new 3-Dimensional virtual gallery exhibition with Fabrik Projects, Here Comes the Sun, featuring artwork from my Memory Pod series. On top of that, the Beatles (hopefully the exhibition title seems just a little familiar) was one of my favorite bands in the late 1960’s. I had a lot of their vinyl “licorice platters” back in the day, which my son appears to be enjoying immensely these days.
With the shelter-in-place as a result of COVID-19, most galleries have had to make some big adjustments since they are for the most part shut-down since mid-March. Thus I was very excited that Fabrik Projects has developed this virtual platform to essentially allow everyone to walk thru a virtual exhibition. So if you have not been in a virtual exhibition space recently, I hope you take some time to try it out. You will find some of my artwork in Gallery Two and my entire set of Memory Pods artwork.
Regretfully when we they tried to have a virtual reception hosted on Zoom last weekend, it was plagued by a series of hackers, both from the alt-right as well as the left persuasion. So there was a short time-out, password re-set and after an hour we resumed again without any additional interruptions.
