I am excited to announce that the San Telmo Museo, located in San Sebastian, Spain, will be acquiring one of the Artist Special Editions of my book to add to their permanent book collection. Cool!
I had suspected that this edition was on their radar as they have previously acquired two of my other books that are already in their permanent collection. This is due in large part to the tireless work of Gabriela Cendoya, a photobook blogger who is located nearby and one of the primary drivers behind this diverse collection of artist and contemporary photographic books.
As I announced a couple of days ago with the acquisition of this Artist Special Edition by the Frick Fine Arts Library, this Artist Special Edition is on the bubble for being sold out. I do have one edition on reserve for another public collection that we are currently in discussions with, so it will be interesting to see how this develops over the next week. Personally, having this Artist Special Edition sold out by the end of this month would be a really wonderful win-win; having the additional funds to pay for the commercial printing and a sold out edition during a pre-order phase of the book’s publication.
Cheers & make every day an Earth Day
