This is my third self-affirming mini-posters for this COVID-19 pandemic, Anxiety, Confronting COVID-19, having published Wonder and Awareness, Restoration in Progress at the end of last month. Allows me to personally vent about my morning anxiety, take advantage of some previous expired 120 film photographs and provides something else to work on during the day.
Yes, I do feel like I am locked up to the extent shown in the accompanying photograph, with various government entities, organizations, and friends adding their locks onto the daisy chain on the gate barring entry to potential freedom, a place that is also barricaded by barbed wire.
Meanwhile, I have also been thinking of what to title this series of diptychs related to the COVID-19 panademic. So at the moment, the working title is: A Developing Crisis. I know, it does not look very original and reads more like a CNN headline, but hey, what the heck, a decent placeholder and I am guessing a ton of other artists are working on this idea as well. My spin is just that, I am giving voice to my own spin on current events.
Similar to the other mini-posters, I have downsized the file (original is 24″ x 39″) to an acceptable size of 8-1/2 x 11″ at 200 dpi that is easy to send (less than 5 mb) via email if you would like a copy.
