LandMark: Landscapes Reimagined – Exhibition open

The LandMark: Landscapes Reimagined photographic exhibition is now hanging at the OC Camera Gallery (Laguna Hills, California), and I am really excited to have my print as the featured announcement photograph for the exhibition (below).

I had planned on the ‘Winter Thistles‘ print to be 24″ x 50″ wide, while Rudy Vega surprised me with a bit larger print made in the UCI print lab; 32″ h x 62″ w. I am equally excited with the framing of the print as well; a float mount in a large shadow box frame.

This exhibition is up until September 8th.

The exhibition is meant to view the traditional landscape genre in a different light, which considers the landscape as a place of change, tension and human influence.

Through diverse photographic approaches, the artist explore environments shaped by development, memory, commerce and environmental transformation, inviting viewers to question how we see, experience and understand the land.

Participating in this exhibition along with me is Roger Bennett, Hiroshi Clark, Michael Graves, William Miller, Joey Lehman Morris, Dennis O’Reilly, Joaquin Palting, Katie Shapiro, Beatta Tuominen, Rudy Vega, and Cecil Yuzhe Zhang
